Hello Everyone -
Josh and I have decided to create a blog to share with all our family and friends. Today is our 1 year anniversary and it has been a very busy year. We bought a house and 6 months ago we got news that we would no longer be a family of two, we are expecting our first child! This news was a BIG surprise but nothing could bring us more joy then growing our little family. We are having a little girl and her name is going to be Olivia Renee Leonard she is due on December 23rd 2008. She is growing fast now and so is my tummy! The doctors say Olivia is healthy which is such a blessing! It has been an amazing experience although there have been some bumps in the road. I don't know why they call it morning sickness because it turned out to be all day sickness and I'm one of those unfortunate moms who have been sick throughout the whole pregnancy. I stayed in the hospital for a couple of days this last week and now I'm on bed rest until the doctors tells me otherwise. Olivia is laying on a nerve and causing me a lot of pain (I hope this is not a glimpse into the future on what trouble she will cause as a teenager). Even though its been a rough pregnancy I wouldn't trade our little Olivia for anything. We are very excited to get her room all ready, we will be sure to post those pictures as they come. Here are a few pictures we would like to share with everyone! Please leave comments we would love to hear from you! Check back often we will keep this updated with all the new baby news!
We painted these for her room!
She has her hands over her eyes
A close up of her beautiful face!
Her long legs (she gets those from her daddy)
This is the bassinet that a dear friend I work with gave us, we can't wait to replace that teddy bear with Olivia!!!

Good Job. Love your artwork, but the beautiful baby steals the show. Yeah for Olivia! I wonder if she will like my cooking. Hum... I'll have to dust off my cookie making skills. Although, I must say, my earthy mud cookies with acorn sprinkles are the best. I'm sure Olivia will love baking mud cookies, don't you think? Can't wait....
Granny (Hey, what is Olivia going to call me. We have to come up with something. She already has two Granny's)
Excuse the Author bit, That is my ID for blogger. lol
I'm so excited for you and Josh!!!
O WOW! What a site. And I can feel the excitement. I can't wait.
I guess I can be called Uncle Speedy. Let's not get into how many GREATS I am.
I probably need to get her some boots, a hat, and a pair of gloves so she can drive the horses with me. Eeee ha!
Lynda told me you were in the hospital but it was to late to come see you. I hope you and the baby are fine.
Hang tough Josh, the fun hasn't even started yet. Every day will be an adventure.
Got to go. Keep lovin each other.
